
The Baltic Sea Region Film (History) Conference is an annual international event that offers a platform for discussions on the past and present of film culture of the Baltic Sea Region. The first conference took place in 2014 in Tallinn, Estonia. From 2019, the conference became mobile, and Vilnius, Lithuania was the first host the event after Tallinn.
The Baltic Sea Region Film (History) Conference is delighted to announce its 11th
for the first time collaborating with the Visegrád countries and invites researchers to explore cinematic processes throughout the long twentieth century and into the present. The 11th conference is organized by National Film School (KIMO) at Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University, Media Education and Research Centre “Meno avilys”, Lithuanian Culture Research Institute, in partnership with: AVAKA, Vilnius Municipality, Lithuanian Council of Culture, Film Archive of the National Archives of Estonia, Latvian Academy of Culture
