The Baltic Sea Region Film History Conference is an annual international event that offers a platform for discussions on the past and present of film culture of the Baltic Sea Region. The first conference took place in 2014 in Tallinn, Estonia. From 2019, the conference became mobile, and Vilnius, Lithuania was the first host of this moving event, followed by Riga, Latvia in 2020.
The 7th Baltic Sea Region Film History Conference is organised by the Film Archive of the National Archives of Estonia, the Estonian Film Institute and Tallinn University Baltic Film, Media and Arts School, in partnership with Latvian Academy of Culture, Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, and Media Education and Research Centre NGO Meno avilys.
